My banking client, a London based Global Markets trading institution, is looking for a Technology Internal Audit Manager to join the team.

As part of this team, you will deliver audits across all technology domains in a standalone and integrated manner. Your main objective will be to deliver independent assurance over the adequacy of technology controls but, you will also be afforded the opportunity to act as a genuine adviser to the business.

Responsibilities include, but will not be limited to the following:

• Planning and execution of IT audit work and reporting the results to management.
• Conduct ad-hoc reviews and special investigations as requested from time to time by management.
• To ensure IT audit work is documented in accordance with internal and professional standards.
• To provide cost-effective and value-added recommendations to management and contribute to enhancing the overall internal control environment.
• Provide input to the annual risk assessment and planning process.
• Ownership and closure of continuous monitoring
• Build and maintain constructive relationships with key stakeholders and auditees within their engagements.

Fundamental to this role, is a technology focussed mindset which is critical when interacting with the business and should be the underpinning of your interactions with stakeholders.

Relevant qualifications and/or material progress in achieving these e.g. CISA, CISM, CISSP, ACA, CIA etc will also be looked upon favourably.
