About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Operations to lead and scale operations for a growing behavioural health organisation. This role will be responsible for driving operational excellence, improving patient experience, and building the infrastructure needed to support rapid, sustainable growth.

The VP of Operations will work closely with executive leadership to translate strategy into execution across clinical operations, workforce management, and systems optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations across a multi-site or virtual psychiatry platform
• Design and implement scalable processes to support growth and efficiency
• Partner with clinical leadership to ensure high-quality patient care and compliance
• Drive performance management through KPIs, dashboards, and operational metrics
• Optimise patient access, scheduling, and care delivery workflows
• Oversee workforce planning, staffing models, and provider utilisation
• Identify and implement technology solutions to improve operational effectiveness
• Manage budgets, cost controls, and operational forecasting
• Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and healthcare standards

Qualifications

• 8–10 years of operations leadership experience, ideally in psychiatry or behavioural health
• Proven experience scaling operations in a high-growth environment
• Strong understanding of clinical operations, patient flow, and care delivery models
• Experience managing distributed or multi-site teams
• Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to inform decisions
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Experience

• Background in psychiatry, mental health, or outpatient healthcare services
• Experience in telehealth or hybrid care delivery models
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations, compliance, and payer environments
• MBA or advanced degree in healthcare administration or a related field
