Our client is a lower-middle-market private equity firm partnering with owners and operators of critical service businesses across healthcare, business services, and infrastructure. The firm is expanding its Operating Partner network and is seeking experienced healthcare executives and operators to help source, diligence, and drive value creation across its portfolio.
About the Role
As an Operating Partner, you will work alongside the investment team and portfolio company leadership to accelerate growth, professionalize operations, and execute on strategic initiatives from platform build-out to add-on M&A integration. This is a high-impact, deeply collaborative role for operators who want to bring their domain expertise to bear on transformational growth stories, not just sit on the sidelines.
Priority Areas of Focus
- Employer-Sponsored Healthcare (TPAs, PBMs, cost containment solutions)
- Dental services / multi-site dental groups
- Physician Practice Management (PPM)
- Dental Support Organizations (DSO)
- ABA / Autism & developmental therapy services
- Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)
What We're Looking For
- Former CEO, COO, President, or senior operating executive within one or more of the above verticals
- Track record of scaling multi-site or tech-enabled healthcare services businesses, ideally within a PE-backed environment
- Experience with platform builds, add-on integration, systems/process buildout, or de novo growth
- Strong network within your sector - providers, referral sources, potential targets, and talent
- Comfort operating in an entrepreneurial, hands-on capacity alongside founders and management teams
What You'll Do
- Partner with the deal team during diligence to assess management, operations, and market opportunity
- Sit on portfolio company boards or take an active advisory/interim leadership role where needed
- Help identify and execute add-on acquisitions and integration plans
- Advise on key hires, KPIs, systems, and go-to-market strategy
- Serve as a trusted sounding board for founders and operators post-close
