Our client is a leading middle-market private equity firm with a significant healthcare portfolio, with a particular focus on contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) businesses. It is building a network of Board Advisors: seasoned operators who can bring hands-on experience to portfolio company leadership teams and boards.
The role
As a Board Advisor you will work alongside portfolio company CEOs, boards and the sponsor’s deal and operating teams. You will:
- Advise on strategy, growth and commercial priorities in your sector
- Share operating experience on quality, delivery, capacity and cost
- Support the leadership team on organizational design, talent and succession
- Contribut to M&A and integration, including diligence and buy-and-build
- Act as a trusted sounding board to management through scale-up, turnaround or exit preparation
Who we’re looking for
You are a senior operator who has led a significant services business, not a pure advisor or consultant. You will have:
- Division President, CEO or equivalent P&L leadership, ideally across global, multi-site operations
- A track record of growing a contract services business and building the leadership team
- PE-backed experience, and ideally prior board or advisory experience
- Credibility with CEOs and investors, and the ability to challenge as well as support
- Experience in sterile, aseptic or biologics manufacturing is a significant advantage, as is experience of quality systems, regulatory inspections and tech transfer.
